Role overview

The Chief Engineer is a senior management position on our LPG vessel, responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the ship's engine department. This role requires strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. The Chief Engineer will work closely with other departments to achieve this goal.

The Chief Engineer's day-to-day duties include overseeing the maintenance and repair of engine room equipment, managing fuel consumption and emissions, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Chief Engineer will also be responsible for training and supervising junior engineers and crew members. Additionally, the Chief Engineer will conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
