Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member on a Bulk carrier, responsible for overseeing cargo operations and deck maintenance. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations. The Chief Officer will work closely with the Master and other crew members to achieve company goals.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising cargo loading and discharging, performing safety inspections, and maintaining deck equipment. They will also be responsible for navigating the vessel during cargo operations and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Additionally, the Chief Officer will participate in drills and training exercises to maintain crew readiness.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a Bulk carrier
- Strong knowledge of cargo operations and deck maintenance
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Valid medical certificate
