The Chief Officer is a senior crew member on a Bulk carrier responsible for overseeing cargo operations and deck maintenance. The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties at sea will include supervising cargo loading and discharging, performing safety inspections, and maintaining deck equipment. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for navigating the vessel and performing watchkeeping duties. Additionally, the Chief Officer will oversee the training and development of junior crew members.
