Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations and maintaining the ship's hull and equipment. The Chief Officer also assists the Master in making key decisions.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising deck crew, maintaining navigation and safety equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. They are also responsible for managing cargo plans and overseeing loading and discharging operations. Additionally, the Chief Officer participates in drills and training exercises to maintain emergency preparedness.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer on a tanker vessel.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a crude oil tanker.
- Strong knowledge of tanker operations, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Valid medical certificate and ability to pass a drug test.
