The Chief Officer will be second‑in‑command on a double‑hull crude oil tanker, responsible for safe cargo handling and vessel stability. You will support the Master in maintaining operational standards and ensuring compliance with international regulations.
Daily duties include supervising deck crew during cargo operations, conducting watchkeeping, navigation checks and emergency drills. You will oversee cargo loading and discharge plans, monitor tank levels and segregation, and manage the ship’s safety equipment. Reporting to the Master, you will maintain logs, conduct inspections and ensure all paperwork is accurate.

Requirements
- OKSTCW 2010 Certificate of Competency as Chief Officer (or equivalent) for oil tankers
- OKValid Medical Certificate and Seafarer’s Identity Document
- OKMinimum 3 years experience as Chief Officer or Senior Deck Officer on crude oil tankers
- OKProficiency in cargo handling software and ECDIS navigation system
- OKGood command of English, both written and spoken
