Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe operation of the vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations and maintaining the ship's hull and equipment. The Chief Officer also assists the Master in navigating the vessel.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising deck crew, maintaining safety equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. They are also responsible for cargo planning, loading, and discharging operations. Additionally, the Chief Officer participates in navigation watches and contributes to the development of voyage plans.

What we look for
- Chief Officer certificate of competency
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a tanker vessel
- Valid STCW certificates
- Good knowledge of ISM and ISPS codes
- Strong leadership and communication skills
