Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations, maintenance, and deck crew management on a Crude oil tanker. The Chief Officer will work closely with the Master to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising cargo loading and discharging, conducting safety drills and training, and performing navigational and administrative tasks. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for maintaining the vessel's deck and superstructure, as well as managing the provision of supplies and spare parts. Additionally, the Chief Officer will participate in bridge management and navigation, ensuring the safe passage of the vessel.

What we look for
- Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a tanker vessel
- Good knowledge of ISM, ISPS, and MARPOL regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
