Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Chief Officer will work closely with the Master to achieve these goals.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising deck crew, maintaining deck equipment, and managing cargo operations. They will also be responsible for navigating the vessel, using electronic navigation systems and traditional methods. Additionally, the Chief Officer will conduct safety drills and training exercises to ensure crew readiness.

What we look for
- Hold a valid Chief Officer's Certificate of Competency
- Have at least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a tanker vessel
- Possess a valid STCW certificate
- Have a strong understanding of ISM and ISPS codes
- Have excellent leadership and communication skills
