Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Chief Officer will work closely with the Master to achieve these goals.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising deck crew, maintaining deck equipment, and managing cargo operations. They will also be responsible for navigation watchkeeping, monitoring weather and sea conditions, and taking corrective action as needed. Additionally, the Chief Officer will participate in safety drills and training exercises to ensure crew readiness.

What we look for
- Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a tanker vessel
- Strong knowledge of cargo operations, safety procedures, and environmental regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
