Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations and maintaining the ship's hull and equipment. The Chief Officer will work closely with the Master to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising deck crew, monitoring cargo handling, and maintaining navigation and communication equipment. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for conducting safety drills and training exercises, as well as performing regular inspections of the vessel. Additionally, the Chief Officer will assist with navigation and watchkeeping duties as required.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a tanker vessel
- Valid medical certificate
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
