Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the diving support vessel. This role involves overseeing deck operations, managing cargo, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Chief Officer will also be involved in planning and executing diving operations.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties at sea will include supervising the deck crew, maintaining the vessel's deck and cargo equipment, and navigating the vessel to and from dive sites. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for monitoring weather and sea conditions, updating navigation charts, and communicating with the bridge team. Additionally, the Chief Officer will participate in safety drills and training exercises to ensure the crew is prepared for emergency situations.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a similar type of vessel
- Valid medical certificate and proof of medical fitness
- Excellent navigation and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations
