Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the LNG vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations, maintaining deck equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for managing a team of deck crew members.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties at sea will include navigating the vessel, managing cargo operations, and maintaining the deck and superstructure. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for conducting safety drills and training exercises, as well as performing administrative tasks such as maintaining records and reports. Additionally, the Chief Officer will be required to work closely with the Master and other senior crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer on an LNG vessel.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on an LNG vessel.
- Strong knowledge of LNG cargo operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead by example.
- Valid medical certificate and completion of all required safety training.
