Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for overseeing cargo operations on a LPG - Ethylene Gas Carrier. This role requires strong knowledge of gas cargo handling and safety procedures. The Chief Officer will work closely with the Master to ensure safe and efficient cargo operations.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising cargo loading and discharging, maintaining cargo records, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for navigating the vessel and performing watchkeeping duties. Additionally, the Chief Officer will participate in drills and training exercises to maintain emergency preparedness.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate for Chief Officer on gas tankers
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Chief Officer on LPG or similar gas carriers
- Strong knowledge of gas cargo handling and safety procedures
- Valid medical certificate and proof of completion of gas tanker training
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills
