Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations, maintaining deck equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations on an Oil/chemical tanker. The Chief Officer will also be involved in navigation and collision avoidance.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising deck crew, performing cargo calculations, and maintaining accurate records of cargo and ballast operations. They will also be responsible for conducting safety drills and training crew members on emergency procedures. Additionally, the Chief Officer will participate in navigational watches and contribute to the overall safety of the vessel.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a tanker vessel
- Valid medical certificate and proof of completion of advanced safety training
- Excellent navigation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
