Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member on a Product tanker responsible for overseeing cargo operations and deck maintenance. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations. The Chief Officer will work closely with the Master to achieve company objectives.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising cargo loading and discharging, monitoring deck maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for navigating the vessel during cargo operations and performing watchkeeping duties. Additionally, the Chief Officer will conduct regular drills and training exercises to maintain crew proficiency.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer on a tanker vessel
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a Product tanker
- Strong knowledge of cargo operations, deck maintenance, and safety procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Valid medical certificate and ability to pass a drug test
