Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Ro-Ro vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for maintaining the vessel's deck and superstructure.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising cargo loading and unloading, conducting safety drills, and maintaining navigation equipment. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for managing the vessel's stores and provisions, as well as performing regular safety inspections. Additionally, the Chief Officer will assist the Master with navigation and voyage planning.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a similar vessel type
- Strong knowledge of cargo operations and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid medical certificate
