Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the VLCC. This role involves overseeing cargo operations, maintenance, and deck crew management. The Chief Officer reports directly to the Master and is second in command.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising cargo loading and discharging, managing deck maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Chief Officer also participates in navigational watches and contributes to the development of voyage plans. Additionally, the Chief Officer is responsible for training and mentoring junior officers.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a tanker vessel
- Strong knowledge of cargo operations, safety protocols, and environmental regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Valid medical certificate and passport
