Role overview
The Cook is a key member of the hotel department on our General Cargo Vessel, responsible for preparing meals for the crew. This role requires a high level of culinary skill and attention to detail to ensure the crew is well fed and satisfied. The Cook will work closely with the other members of the hotel department to maintain a clean and safe galley.
The day-to-day duties of the Cook include planning and preparing meals, managing food stores and supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness of the galley. The Cook will also be responsible for ensuring all food is prepared and served in a safe and hygienic manner. Additionally, the Cook will be required to keep accurate records of food supplies and expenses.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- Food Safety and Hygiene certificate
- 2 years of experience as a Cook on a commercial vessel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent
