Role overview
We are seeking a Deck Cadet to join our team on a General Cargo Vessel. As a Deck Cadet, you will be an integral part of the deck crew and will assist with various tasks and duties. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Your day-to-day duties will include assisting with navigation, maintaining deck equipment, and participating in safety drills. You will also be responsible for keeping the deck area clean and tidy, as well as performing other tasks as directed by the senior officers. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced crew members and develop your knowledge of cargo operations.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid STCW certificate
- Must be enrolled in a maritime academy or have completed a maritime training program
- Must have a valid medical certificate
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Must be willing to commit to a contract starting on 01.08.2026
