Requirements
- OKDegree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- OKMinimum of 3 years' experience designing mechanical components and assemblies.
- OKStrong proficiency with 3D CAD software such as Creo or SolidWorks.
- OKExperience producing and maintaining detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- OKGood understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, and casting.
- OKKnowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- OKExperience creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- OKStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- OKAbility to manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- OKExcellent written communication and attention to detail.
- OKMarine, industrial equipment, or heavy engineering experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- OKExposure to PLM systems such as Windchill would be beneficial.
