Role details A specialist maritime recruiter is pleased to be partnering with a rapidly expanding ship management company in Greece as they continue to strengthen their technical operations team.
Requirements
- OKProven experience with a minimum of 4–5 years sailing as an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) on merchant vessels, combined with shore-based experience as an Electrical Superintendent within ship management.
- OKStrong technical knowledge of marine electrical power generation and distribution systems, automation and PLC systems, engine monitoring equipment, navigation systems, communication equipment, and vessel control systems.
- OKDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and automation-related issues, conduct root cause investigations, and manage major repairs, retrofits, and dry-dock projects.
- OKComprehensive understanding of Class, Flag State, IMO, SOLAS, and MARPOL requirements, with experience supporting audits, inspections, and vessel surveys.
- OKExcellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively within an international maritime environment.
