Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team on a Bulk carrier. The Electrician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment on board. This includes ensuring compliance with safety regulations and preventing equipment failures.
The Electrician's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, troubleshooting electrical issues, and testing equipment to ensure it is functioning properly. The Electrician will also be responsible for keeping records of maintenance and repairs, and ordering replacement parts as needed. Additionally, the Electrician will work closely with other crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as an Electrician.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working as an Electrician on a commercial vessel.
- Must have knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, including motors, generators, and control systems.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
