Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team on a Container Ship. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems and equipment on board. This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
As an Electrician on our Container Ship, your day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, troubleshooting electrical faults, and testing electrical equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly. You will also be responsible for updating electrical diagrams and records, and providing technical support to other crew members as needed. Additionally, you will be required to follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as an Electrician.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working as an Electrician on a merchant vessel.
- Must have a strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment, including navigation and communication systems.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced maritime environment.
