Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team on a General Cargo Vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems on board. This is a contract position with Crewell, offering a competitive salary and opportunity to work with a reputable company.
As an Electrician on our General Cargo Vessel, your day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will also be responsible for testing and inspecting electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly. Additionally, you will work closely with other crew members to resolve electrical issues and improve overall vessel efficiency.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as an Electrician
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working as an Electrician on a commercial vessel
- Must have knowledge of electrical systems, including circuit analysis and troubleshooting
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced maritime environment
