Role overview
The ETO is a key member of the engineering team on our Bulk carrier vessels, responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and electronic equipment. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently. The ETO will also assist with other engineering tasks as needed.
The ETO's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic systems, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and testing and calibrating equipment to ensure proper function. The ETO will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and for ordering replacement parts and supplies as needed. Additionally, the ETO will assist with cargo operations and other tasks as required.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- At least 2 years of experience as an ETO on a commercial vessel
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass a physical exam and obtain any necessary visas
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
