Role overview
The ETO will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of electrical and electronic equipment on a Bulk carrier. This includes ensuring all systems are functioning properly and safely. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
The ETO's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic equipment, troubleshooting issues, and testing systems to ensure they are working correctly. The ETO will also be responsible for updating records and logs of maintenance and repairs. Additionally, the ETO will work closely with other crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

What we look for
- Hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate, such as an Electro-Technical Officer certificate.
- Have at least 2 years of experience as an ETO on a commercial vessel.
- Possess a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, including navigation and communication equipment.
- Have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
