Role overview
We are seeking an experienced ETO to join our team on a crude oil tanker. The ETO will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of all electrical and electronic equipment on board. This includes navigation, communication, and cargo handling systems.
The ETO's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic systems, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The ETO will also be responsible for training and guiding other crew members on the use and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment. Additionally, the ETO will participate in drills and exercises to ensure preparedness in case of emergencies.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as an Electro-Technical Officer.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as an ETO on a tanker vessel.
- Must have knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including navigation, communication, and cargo handling systems.
- Must have experience with troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic equipment.
- Must hold a valid medical certificate and be fit for duty at sea.
