Role overview
The ETO is a key member of the crew on a Crude oil tanker, responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and electronic equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work independently. The ETO will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
The ETO's day-to-day duties at sea will include performing routine maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment, monitoring and analyzing system performance, and making repairs as needed. The ETO will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the ETO will work closely with other crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- At least 2 years of experience as an ETO on a tanker vessel
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
