Role overview
The ETO will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of all electrical and electronic equipment on board a Crude oil tanker. This includes ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
The ETO's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with other crew members to ensure seamless vessel operations. The ETO will also be responsible for updating and maintaining technical records and documentation. Additionally, the ETO will participate in drills and training exercises to maintain emergency preparedness.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as an Electro-Technical Officer
- At least 2 years of experience as an ETO on a tanker vessel
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including navigation and communication equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred
