Role overview

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Technical Officer to join our team on an oil/chemical tanker. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment on board. This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

As an ETO on our oil/chemical tanker, your day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic systems, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for testing and calibrating equipment, and providing technical support to other crew members. Additionally, you will be required to maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

  • Hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as an Electro-Technical Officer.

  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
