Role overview
The Electro-Technical Officer is a key member of the engineering team on our Ro-Ro vessel, responsible for maintaining electrical and electronic systems. This includes navigation, communication, and cargo handling equipment. The role requires a strong technical background and ability to work independently.
As ETO, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic systems, troubleshooting faults, and testing equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will also be required to keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work, and participate in safety drills and training exercises. Additionally, you will work closely with other engineering team members to ensure the smooth operation of the vessel.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as ETO
- At least 2 years of experience as ETO on a similar vessel type
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including navigation and communication equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in electrical or electronic engineering preferred
