We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Welder to join our deck department on a Bulk carrier.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing ship equipment and machinery.
This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background and attention to detail.
As a Fitter/Welder on our Bulk carrier, your day-to-day duties will include performing repairs and maintenance on deck equipment, welding and fabricating parts as needed, and collaborating with other crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with ship equipment and machinery.
Additionally, you will be expected to follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW certificate with Fitter/Welder endorsement
- At least 2 years of experience as a Fitter/Welder on a commercial vessel
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Valid medical certificate
