Marine Insight 360 is recruiting a Fitter/Welder on Bulk carrier for Bulk Carrier linked to Bulk carrier.

The Fitter/Welder will be part of the deck department on a bulk carrier, responsible for maintaining and repairing ship equipment.
This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and welding techniques.
The Fitter/Welder will work closely with other crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The Fitter/Welder's day-to-day duties will include performing repairs and maintenance on deck equipment, such as cranes and winches, as well as welding and fabricating parts as needed.
They will also be responsible for inspecting and testing equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
Additionally, the Fitter/Welder will assist with other deck maintenance tasks, such as painting and cleaning.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW certificate
- Fitter/Welder trade certification
- At least 2 years of experience as a Fitter/Welder on a commercial vessel
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
