Marine Insight 360 is recruiting a Fitter/Welder on General Cargo Vessel for General Cargo Vessel linked to General Cargo Vessel.

The Fitter/Welder will be part of the deck department on a General Cargo Vessel, responsible for maintaining and repairing ship equipment and machinery.
This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and welding techniques.
The Fitter/Welder will work closely with other crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The day-to-day duties of the Fitter/Welder will include performing repairs and maintenance on deck equipment, such as cranes and winches, as well as welding and fabricating parts as needed.
The Fitter/Welder will also be responsible for inspecting and testing equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
Additionally, the Fitter/Welder will assist with other deck operations as required.
