Role overview

The Gas Engineer is a critical role on our LPG vessel, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of gas-related systems. This includes maintaining and repairing equipment to prevent downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The Gas Engineer will work closely with other crew members to achieve this goal.

The Gas Engineer's day-to-day duties will include monitoring and maintaining gas cargo handling equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. The Gas Engineer will also be responsible for managing gas cargo operations, including loading and discharging cargo. Additionally, the Gas Engineer will participate in safety drills and training exercises to ensure preparedness in case of emergencies.
