We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team on a Very Large Gas Carrier.
As a key member of the deck department, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel's gas plant.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on similar vessels and be familiar with the unique challenges of gas engineering.
Your day-to-day duties will include monitoring and maintaining the vessel's gas plant, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
You will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and optimize vessel performance.
Additionally, you will work closely with other crew members to ensure seamless operations and maintain a safe working environment.

What we look for
- Valid STCW certificate with Gas Engineer endorsement
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Gas Engineer on a VLGC or similar vessel
- Strong knowledge of gas plant operations and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in a relevant field preferred
