Role details A specialist maritime recruiter is pleased to be working in partnership with a globally recognised marine consultancy providing independent marine warranty and technical advisory services to the offshore energy and maritime sectors.
Requirements
- OKMaster Mariner, Chief Engineer, Naval Architect or equivalent maritime qualification. 5–10 years’ experience operating as a Marine Warranty Surveyor within offshore energy or complex marine projects.
- OKStrong background in offshore installation, heavy lift, subsea construction or marine transportation projects.
- OKProven experience reviewing and approving technical documentation including method statements, stability analyses and seafastening calculations.
- OKComprehensive working knowledge of relevant industry guidelines such as IMCA, ISO standards and class requirements.
- OKAbility to act independently with sound technical judgement and confident decision-making capability.
- OKWillingness to travel internationally and attend offshore operations as project requirements dictate.
- OKExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured technical reports.
