Role overview
The Master is responsible for the overall command of the Bulk carrier, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This includes overseeing cargo operations, navigation, and crew management. The Master must also comply with all relevant regulations and laws.
The Master's day-to-day duties at sea include navigating the vessel, managing crew members, and maintaining safety and security protocols. The Master must also monitor weather conditions, manage fuel consumption, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Additionally, the Master is responsible for conducting regular drills and training exercises to maintain crew readiness.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Master's certificate of competency issued by a recognized maritime authority.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Master on a Bulk carrier or similar vessel type.
- Must have completed all required STCW training courses, including crisis management and crowd control.
- Must have a strong understanding of international maritime regulations, including SOLAS and MARPOL.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective leadership and communication skills.
