Role overview
The Master is responsible for the overall safe operation of the Bulk carrier, ensuring compliance with international and company regulations. The Master will oversee all deck operations, including cargo handling and navigation. The Master will also be responsible for the management of the deck crew.
The Master's day-to-day duties at sea will include navigating the vessel, managing cargo operations, and ensuring the safety of the crew and vessel. The Master will also be responsible for monitoring weather conditions, managing fuel consumption, and maintaining communication with other vessels and shore-based authorities. The Master will also conduct regular drills and training exercises to ensure the crew is prepared for emergency situations.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Master's certificate of competency issued by a recognized maritime authority.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Master on a bulk carrier vessel.
- Must have a strong knowledge of international maritime regulations, including SOLAS and MARPOL.
- Must have excellent navigation and cargo handling skills.
- Must have strong leadership and communication skills.
