Role overview
The Master is responsible for the overall operation and navigation of a Container Ship. This senior role requires strong leadership and decision-making skills to ensure safe and efficient cargo transport. The Master will work closely with other crew members to achieve company goals.
The Master's day-to-day duties include navigating the vessel, managing crew members, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Master will also be responsible for monitoring weather conditions, managing fuel consumption, and maintaining vessel security. Additionally, the Master will conduct regular drills and training exercises to prepare the crew for emergency situations.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Master's certificate of competency issued by a recognized maritime authority
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Master on a similar type of vessel
- Must have completed all required STCW training and certification
- Must have a strong understanding of international maritime regulations and safety protocols
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership and management skills
