The Master will be the overall commander of a crude oil tanker, responsible for safe navigation, cargo handling and compliance with international regulations. You will lead the deck department and ensure the vessel meets the charterer's performance standards.

Daily duties include planning voyages, supervising cargo loading and discharge operations, and maintaining watchkeeping logs. You will conduct bridge drills, monitor weather and traffic, and make tactical decisions to avoid hazards. The Master also oversees crew training, safety inspections and emergency response readiness.

Requirements

  • OK- Master Mariner’s Certificate of Competency (CoC) for Oil Tanker, 1st Class
  • OK- Valid STCW 2010 endorsement (including FPFF, Medical, Survival Craft, and GMDSS)
  • OK- Minimum 3 years command experience on crude oil tankers of 20,000 dwt or more
  • OK- Proven record of safe navigation and cargo operations with no major incidents
  • OK- Strong leadership, communication skills and proficiency in English
