Role overview

The Master is responsible for the overall command of the General Cargo Vessel, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This role requires strong leadership and navigational skills to manage the crew and cargo. The Master will be accountable for compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

The Master's day-to-day duties at sea include navigating the vessel, managing cargo operations, and maintaining safety and security protocols. The Master will also be responsible for conducting regular drills and training exercises to ensure crew readiness. Additionally, the Master will manage and maintain accurate records of vessel operations, including logs and reports.

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Master on a similar type of vessel.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse crew.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
