Role overview
The Master is responsible for the overall operation of the General Cargo Vessel, ensuring safe and efficient cargo transport. This role requires strong leadership and navigational skills to manage the crew and vessel. The Master must also comply with all relevant maritime regulations and laws.
The Master's day-to-day duties include navigating the vessel, managing cargo operations, and supervising deck crew members. The Master is also responsible for maintaining vessel safety and security, as well as ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Additionally, the Master must be prepared to respond to emergencies and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Master's certificate of competency issued by a recognized maritime authority
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Master on a similar type of vessel
- Must have completed all required STCW training and certification
- Must have a strong understanding of international maritime laws and regulations
- Must be able to pass a medical fitness exam and obtain any required visas
