Role overview
The Master is responsible for the overall operation of the General Cargo Vessel, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of cargo. The Master will oversee all deck operations, including navigation, cargo handling, and maintenance. The Master will also be responsible for compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
The Master's day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, managing the crew, and making decisions regarding cargo operations and safety. The Master will also be responsible for conducting drills and training exercises to ensure the crew is prepared for emergencies. The Master will maintain accurate records and logs, including navigation, cargo, and safety records.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Master's Certificate of Competency
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Master on a similar type of vessel
- Must have a strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and laws
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
