Role overview
The Master is responsible for the safe operation of the General Cargo Vessel, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws. The Master will oversee all deck operations, including cargo handling and navigation. The vessel will operate globally, requiring the Master to be adaptable and flexible.
The Master's day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, managing the crew, and maintaining the vessel's safety and security. The Master will also be responsible for communicating with other vessels, ports, and coastal authorities. Additionally, the Master will oversee maintenance and repair work, ensuring the vessel remains seaworthy and efficient.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Master's certificate of competency issued by a recognized maritime authority.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Master on a similar type of vessel.
- Must have a strong understanding of international maritime regulations, including SOLAS and MARPOL.
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
