Role overview
The Master is responsible for the overall operation and navigation of the General Cargo Vessel, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of cargo. The Master will oversee all deck operations and personnel, making key decisions to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. The Master will also be responsible for maintaining the vessel's safety and security.
The Master's day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, managing cargo operations, and supervising deck crew members. The Master will also be responsible for conducting safety drills and training exercises, as well as maintaining accurate records and logs. The Master will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Master's certificate of competency issued by a recognized maritime authority
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Master on a similar type of vessel
- Must have a strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and conventions
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced maritime environment
