Role overview
The Master is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the oil/chemical tanker. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. The Master will also be responsible for the overall management of the vessel and its crew.
The Master's day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, managing cargo operations, and overseeing maintenance and repair work. The Master will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of the crew, passengers, and vessel, as well as preventing pollution and protecting the environment. Additionally, the Master will need to manage budgets, coordinate with other departments, and make key decisions in emergency situations.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Master's certificate of competency for oil/chemical tankers.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Master on a similar type of vessel.
- Must have a strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and conventions.
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
