Role overview
The Master is responsible for the overall operation and navigation of the VLGC vessel, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of cargo. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage the crew and make critical decisions at sea. The Master must also comply with all relevant regulations and laws.
The Master's day-to-day duties include navigating the vessel, managing cargo operations, and maintaining safety and security protocols. The Master is also responsible for conducting regular drills and training exercises to ensure the crew is prepared for emergency situations. Additionally, the Master must maintain accurate records and logs of the vessel's operations, including navigation, cargo, and maintenance activities.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Master's certificate of competency for VLGC vessels.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Master on a similar type of vessel.
- Must have a strong understanding of international maritime regulations and laws, including SOLAS and MARPOL.
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse crew.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
