Role overview
We are seeking a Messboy to join our team on an oil/chemical tanker. As a key member of the deck department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the galley and mess areas. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth and development.
Your day-to-day duties will include cleaning and sanitizing the galley and mess areas, assisting the cook with meal preparation, and maintaining inventory of galley supplies. You will also be responsible for washing dishes and laundry for the crew. Additionally, you will be expected to follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
