Role overview
We are seeking a skilled Motorman/Oiler to join our engine department on a Bulk carrier. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the vessel's engine and mechanical systems. This is a contract position with Crewell, offering a unique opportunity to work on a bulk cargo ship.
As a Motorman/Oiler, your day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring engine performance, and carrying out repairs as needed. You will also be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the engine room. Additionally, you will work closely with other engine department personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate for the position of Motorman/Oiler.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working on bulk carriers or similar vessels.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a strong understanding of engine maintenance and repair procedures.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
